KEYS TO TERRITORIAL TAKEOVER

TOPIC: KEYS TO TERRITORIAL TAKEOVER (3) – THE FIGHTING SPIRIT
By: Dr. Paul Enenche (Donamis Int'l Ministry)

The fighting spirit is a non-negotiable necessity for the taking over of territories and the possession of gates
You cannot begin to possess until you are set to contend
Possession is accompanied by contention (Matt. 11:12)

Spiritual aggression is required for spiritual possession (Matt. 11:12)
It is the violent, not the timid, that take things in the realm of the Spirit
If you avoid the fight, you forfeit the flight; if you avoid the fight, you forfeit the height

In any realm you find yourself, it is important that you are a fighter!
You need to be fightful! This life has no mercy on people who don’t have guts!

SCRIPTURAL EXAMPLES OF PEOPLE WITH THE FIGHTING SPIRIT:

1. Caleb (Josh. 14:6-14)
It is battle readiness that guarantees destiny fulfilment
You are not set for your right until you are set to fight

It takes a fight to get your right; it takes courage to experience conquest (Dan. 11:32)

God always supplies strength to fighters (Isa. 28:5-6; Ps. 89:19-20)
God’s help is reserved for the audacious and courageous (Isa. 28:5-6; Ps. 89:19-20)

2. The children of Dan (Josh. 19:47-48)

i. If your portion is too small, you don’t increase it by complaining, you increase it by contending

ii. To enlarge your territory, you must engage the enemy
You don’t eye it to own it, you earn it to own it!

3. The children of Joseph (Josh. 17:16-18)
You don’t talk your way to increase, you work your way!

If you want it, you don’t just ask for it, you fight for it!
Greatness is not a designation, it is a responsibility

WHAT IS GREATNESS?

Greatness = responsibility (the readiness to do the right thing without advice) + audacity + indomitability

The devil is not permitted to see your back or to see your tears! (Eph. 6:10-18)
Every attempt to enlarge the Kingdom will attract the enemy (Matt. 16:18; Neh. 4:7-9)

If you are not afraid to engage the enemy, then you can’t be stopped from enlarging that territory
Where you have the music, melody, mantle and message aimed at creating motion, then revival is sparked

4. Paul the Apostle (1Cor. 9:24-27; 2Tim. 4:6-7; 2:3-4; Acts 14:19-20; 20:22-24)
There is a realm of ruggedity where your action works faster than your prayer

5. The heroes of faith (Heb. 11:32-34)

WHAT THE FIGHT IS ALL ABOUT:

1. It is about taking charge of everything God expects you to take charge of (Josh. 1:1-7)

2. It is about becoming everything that God expects you to become in life (Phil. 3:12)

TOOLS FOR THE FIGHT:

1. We fight with light (Isa. 60:1; John 1:5)

2. We fight with prophetic revelation (1Tim. 1:18)

3. We fight with faith (1Tim. 6:12; Acts 4:29)
Fighting with faith is fighting with unwavering confidence in God; it is the fight that refuses fear and timidity

PRAYERS

Father, kill every trace of timidity, cowardice and gentility in my life; give me a baptism of fierceness, ferocity and boldness, in Jesus’ Name
Father, I make demands on the same fire that came on Peter, Paul and on all the Apostles, in Jesus’ Name.
Father, I need the heart to take my part with You Lord, in Jesus’ Name

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS:

- Everything the devil wants to use to destabilise your home, today that yoke is broken!

- In the Name of Jesus, I prophesy to you, by the time that fight in your life is over, your territory and level will change!

- The last time you knew defeat shall be the last forever!

- Anyone waiting to hear bad news from your life, destiny and ministry, they shall be disappointed!

- Very soon, after this conference, your moves steps and boldness will not just surprise people but surprise you as well!.

MY DESTINY VS ALTARS

“And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it. And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.” Judges 6:25-25 Introduction An altar is usually a separate and raised platform used for offering sacrifices and burning incense for worship. Today we are looking at how to pull down evil altars fighting against our Divine destiny. An evil altar is a platform or a separate place where sacrifices are offered by the agents of darkness like a priest or a wicked one to cage or hold the destiny of men down. An evil altar is a place where the souls of men are caged and destroyed by the devil. When this evil altar is raised against a man, it goes to work to ...

OH LORD, SHOW ME MERCY

And he showed me Joshua the high Priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. (Zachariah3:1) Zechariah 3 talks of a vision shown by God Almighty to the prophet Zechariah concerning Joshua who was the High Priest at the time. The job of Joshua as the High Priest is to connect the people to God by generally praying and interceding for them.  It therefore means that in carrying out this duty, Joshua must approach God in righteousness because the God we are talking about is a God whose eyes are so pure that they cannot behold iniquity. But here, Joshua was standing before God in filthy garments. WHAT GARMENT ARE YOU WEARING? Filthy garment can be termed a dirty garment; it is a garment that is stained. It is a garment of unrighteousness, a garment of sin. It is a garment of faithlessness and doubt. The only thing that can separate us from God, making us not to have an experience with Him is sin. For anyone to successfully serve God h...
