SECURING MIRACLES

Topic: SECURING MIRACLES 2
Speaker: Pastor Ola Aina
Text: Luke 1:35

*INSPIRATION*
(Giving direction to your day)

“...The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee...” (Luke 1:35)

*✍The emphasis we are making in this study is that the Spirit of God has a major role to play in our lives.

* Apart from knowing what God did in scriptures; which defines possibilities for us; we must also understand how God did those things so that they can become a reality in our lives. Yesterday we saw clearly how the Spirit of God worked.

Today again we’ll see clearly another major miracle in scriptures. *The conception of Jesus by Virgin Mary was a miracle.

* The angel came to her to announce what God wanted to do through her.

*She could not figure out how it will happen. It was completely against every biological process of conception.* Her question was

*“...How shall this be, seeing I know not a man” (Luke 1:34).*

It was a legitimate question. I’m sure that we have asked such questions before in our lives. How will I move from where I am today to a better place? How will my business grow? How will I pass this professional exam? We usually ask such questions because we seem unable to figure out things by ourselves.

*✍ The answer that Mary was given is the same answer for all related questions in every area of our lives. “...The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee...” (Luke 1:35).*

This is how to make the impossible possible in our lives. This is how to turn hopeless lives around.

The circumstances of your life right now cannot be the end of your life. By the Spirit situations can turn around in your life. By the Spirit we can start small and end up with a “nation”. The Spirit of God has come to turn your ordinary into extraordinary. He has come to turn your nothing into something. Give him the room.

*PRAYER:*
Lord by your Spirit take over my life and make something out of my nothing.

*LEARN MORE:* Isaiah 32:15; 60:22

*PRAYER REQUEST:
In the name of Jesus we declare that the light of God's word through Inspiration will grant everyone reading direction on a daily basis.
*Psalm  119:105*

MY DESTINY VS ALTARS

“And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father’s young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it. And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down.” Judges 6:25-25 Introduction An altar is usually a separate and raised platform used for offering sacrifices and burning incense for worship. Today we are looking at how to pull down evil altars fighting against our Divine destiny. An evil altar is a platform or a separate place where sacrifices are offered by the agents of darkness like a priest or a wicked one to cage or hold the destiny of men down. An evil altar is a place where the souls of men are caged and destroyed by the devil. When this evil altar is raised against a man, it goes to work to ...

OH LORD, SHOW ME MERCY

And he showed me Joshua the high Priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. (Zachariah3:1) Zechariah 3 talks of a vision shown by God Almighty to the prophet Zechariah concerning Joshua who was the High Priest at the time. The job of Joshua as the High Priest is to connect the people to God by generally praying and interceding for them.  It therefore means that in carrying out this duty, Joshua must approach God in righteousness because the God we are talking about is a God whose eyes are so pure that they cannot behold iniquity. But here, Joshua was standing before God in filthy garments. WHAT GARMENT ARE YOU WEARING? Filthy garment can be termed a dirty garment; it is a garment that is stained. It is a garment of unrighteousness, a garment of sin. It is a garment of faithlessness and doubt. The only thing that can separate us from God, making us not to have an experience with Him is sin. For anyone to successfully serve God h...
